INFORMATION ON THE CANDIDATURE PROCEDURE
To participate in the AfrhySpace conference, you must have a minimum knowledge of hydrology/oceanography and be attached to a university/research laboratory/research centre or equivalent structure. Doctoral or post-doctoral students, research engineers, early-career teachers-researchers are welcome. You must complete and submit the online form. In the event of a selection, the organizing committee will be able to give you an interview in order to have more information on your motivation,The selection of the participants will follow the criteria of qualifications (career and achievements in hydrology, scientific publications, potential contribution of the school to their career), the suitability of the main orientations of the school to the professional projects of the participants, and the contribution of the content of the school to the academic careers (doctors). The selection of participants will ensure gender parity; female candidates are strongly encouraged. The composition of students will also reflect regional diversity. A cover letter will be indispensable. Candidates are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation.
APPLICATION
We are pleased to announce that participation in the Space Hydrology Capacity Building Workshop will be supported financially up to a high level (but may be only partially) for travel and subsistance. We encourage you to complete the registration form and indicate all information that is required, including a short CV and a letter of motivation. Training requires a good performance laptop. Each selected candidate must have their own computer because the Organization of the Workshop will not supply a computer.
